By accessing and using VideoLab (“the Service”) at https://videolab.dev, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
VideoLabis a free, browser-based video playback testing tool that allows users to test video URLs, HLS/DASH streams, YouTube and Vimeo links, and embedded video code. The Service is provided “as is” for diagnostic and development purposes.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use VideoLab to:
- Test, access, or distribute video content that you do not have the legal right to use
- Attempt to circumvent DRM protections or access restrictions on third-party content
- Use the Service in any way that could harm, disable, or impair it
- Attempt to scrape, crawl, or automate requests to the Service in a way that overloads our infrastructure
4. No Liability for Stream Content
VideoLab is a neutral testing tool. We do not host, control, or endorse any video content that users choose to test through the Service. We are not responsible for the content of any video URLs, streams, or embeds tested using VideoLab. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the legal right to access any content they test.
5. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, VideoLab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Service.
7. Third-Party Services
VideoLab uses third-party libraries (hls.js, dash.js) and may display third-party advertising (Google AdSense). Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
